Product Description
PBT fiber is a new type of polyester fiber. During production, PTA and BDO are usually directly esterified, followed by polycondensation reaction, and then melt spinning to produce PBT fiber. The elongation of PBT fiber is 30% to 60%, and the elastic recovery rate is better than polyester and nylon, but it is still insufficient compared with spandex. In addition, PBT fiber has greater rigidity and good shape stability, bulking and curling properties. It is relatively fine and has the feel of wool, so it also has great application potential in some wool fabric fields.
The "rabbit plush" yarn on the market, also known as PBT core-spun yarn, has a smooth, bulky, tight and silky effect, and is mainly used in the production of autumn and winter sweaters. In production, PBT 50D DTY filament is usually used as the core, wrapped with 1.5D nylon staple fiber and 1.5D viscose staple fiber, and then weaved on a flat knitting machine to produce sweaters; this core-spun yarn has a soft, bulky, tight and silky effect. Mainly used for autumn and winter sweaters, the elasticity performance is not outstanding.
