Product Description

Luminous yarn is a new type of clothing fiber. It is made of polyethylene terephthalate as the base material, using rare earth materials and additives, and made into a luminescent filament with luminous properties through a special spinning process.

The filament traps excited-state electrons when receiving light, and undergoes a continuous luminescent transition after the light is stopped. As long as it absorbs visible light for 10 minutes, it can store light energy in the fiber and continue to emit light in the dark, fundamentally overcoming the shortcomings of the traditional luminous fabric coating method.


This product can be widely used in aviation and navigation, night work, daily life and entertainment clothing and other fields. For example, the International Maritime Bureau has recently stipulated that the clothing of all staff on ocean-going ships must have luminous markings. Using luminous silk to make marks on clothing can improve work and traffic safety.
